Why do primitive types have ranges of values? what determines the range of the data type?

What determines the range of primitive data types is a combination of the number of bytes that is allocated to them and if there's any encoding.

Not too long ago, it was normal for an integer to receive four bytes of memory. An unsigned integer would also receive four bytes of memory. The unsigned int  had a range of 0 - (2^32 - 1) because it could only be used for positive integers and could use all 32 bits. An integer has a range of (- 2^31 through +2^31 - 1). The 32nd bit is uses as a sign bit (0 for positive, 1 for negative).

Just for thoroughness: when an int is negative, it's stored as the two's complement of it's absolute value.

Answer:

The correct answer to the following question will be "Checksum".

Explanation:

A variable that reflects the amount of several bits in a transmitted packet and is used by practitioners of IT to spot heavy-level anomalies in the transmission of data, known as Checksum.

  • After executing a cryptographic hashing algorithm each piece of information or a document could be allocated a value of checksum before delivery.
  • We are relevant because we are using them to verify the authenticity of the documents.

So, it's the right answer.

How to connect tablet to your bluetooth at home?
anygoal [31]
Make sure both devices are enabled or are able to connect via Bluetooth. Set the tablet to "discover" mode. Or, you can have it scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. Select the device. Sometimes, you are prompted for a password or code. If you don't have the manual (which usually states it) you can use either 0000 or 1234.
