Simple politeness, leads us t pretend welik a datmoran we really do, leading to reciprocal interaction and validation. Lawrence Casler considers that love develops, in part, because of our human needs for acceptance and confirmation. We are relieved when we meet somone whose choices coincide with our own, we tend to attach ourselves to such person because he or she offers us validation, and such validation is an important basis for love.

The date, also seeking validation, responds favorably< this favorable response makes the first person feel good, and he/she feels fondness for the individual who ha made him/her fee god. As one peon-s positive feelings increase, the other-s are likely to do also. Obviously, it is easier to love someone who loves you than someone who is indifferent.
