The President could make treaties, ( with the advice and consent of Senate of course ) appoint Ambassadors, commander and chief of the Army and Navy, and according to the article, "when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices," the president can grant reprieves and pardons except for impeachment, he takes care of laws faithfully executed, and he shall commission all officers of the United States.
