The major difference between the Puritans and the Separatists was that the Separatists were more extreme than the puritans. Some people would say that Separatists were one wing of the Puritan faith while others would say that they were a separate group.

Hope that helped :)

What effect do Faulkner's choices about how to reveal the events of Miss Emily's life have on the reader?
harina [27]

Answer:

The story is narrated by “we,” the townspeople in general, who also play a role in Miss Emily's tragedy. The townspeople respect Miss Emily as a kind of living monument to their glorified but lost pre-Civil War Southern past, but are therefore also highly judgmental and gossipy about her, sometimes hypocritically.

Which statement best compares the characteristics of Robert Wagner and Alfred E. Smith?
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

Both men were extremely committed to improving working conditions in America, as shown in option A.

We can arrive at this answer because:

  • Robert Wagner and Alfred E. Smith were dedicated to the pursuit of improvements in the labor sector in America.
  • This was a common feature between them, even though they had different lives and family backgrounds.
  • Both had a strong class consciousness and knew that the working class is at a disadvantage within the industrial sector.
  • For them, this class should be protected because it was the workers who carried out all the production in the country, but they were very oppressed by the upper classes.

This question is about the text "The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire."

An abandoned office would most likely be the best one. Just by hearing the word abandoned, it can give people chills because they don't expect what that abandoned office have. In a fiction story, it might have zombies or something.
