The Pilgrims went to North America in 1620 because they wanted to have a place to live where they could practice their own religion without being persecuted by the government. The Pilgrims were Puritans and there was tension between the Puritans and the Church of England (and the government) at the time.

Why would an author choose a third-person narrator?
Keith_Richards [23]

A third-person point of view can be omniscient, in which the narrator knows all of the thoughts and feelings of all of the characters in the story, or it can be limited. If it's limited, the narrator only relates his or her own thoughts, feelings, and knowledge of various situations and other characters.

hope this helps ;)

slega [8]

Answer:

There are many changes that I would like to see in the world such as kindness. Not just to ourselves but also to others, it says that you must be the change we want to see in the world and that starts with loving and being kind to you. I would also like to see the world being a less stressful and happier place to live in and once again that starts with us To help the world be less stressful we need to declutter our lives before we can help declutter others.

Read the passage.
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

D) The Curiosity rover will be able to explore Mars for up to 10 years

Explanation:

In the passage it didn't mention what the actual price was, it just hinted that it was expensive to make.

It didn't say anything about how the wheel are constructed, nor who they were named by.

It did however say that Rovers are good at measuring the planet that they are on (so they can measure planets other than Earth) and they are much more durable than humans and can survive longer on a foreign planet (so they will be able to explore Mars for longer than a human could, which in this case is 10 years.)
