Answer:

Romantic poetry focuses on the individual experiences and emotions of poets, while earlier poetry focused on greatly extolling peace and the love of nature.

Explanation:

Romantic poetry focused heavily on the personal feelings of poets. The "I" is very present in this literary school, so in these poetry what matters is what the poet is living living, what the poet is feeling. In these poems even nature has ceased to be a mere scenario and has become a kind of extension of self.

These poetry were very different from the poetry that was written before romanticism, where the authors greatly exalted peace and the love of nature.

Compare and contrastdetails in the historical account of the Orphan Train Movement to those in the fi ctional story. Describe ho
Sati [7]

Answer and Explanation:

The two texts have more similarities than differences, as both show how children were rescued from the streets, hung, washed, put on trains and taken to be displayed in search of a family that would adopt them. The texts also show how common it was for siblings to be separated forever and for children to be nudged and analyzed.

However, the fictional text does not show how this movement started, nor does it address the fact that many children ran away and others were extremely abused, raped and vomited by strong violence.

Bond [772]

Hello there!

I think correct answer to be C) the plot structure and setting of each!

The plot is the main events of a work, devised and presented by the writer as an interrelated sequence; it is related to the author's style and authenticity. In that sense, as you can compare how the work is developed, the plot and setting would be the most advisable aspects to begin when comparing.

Hope this helps!

What incident finally prompted the Japanese government to provide relief for the hibakusha?
Vlada [557]

Answer:

The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (in English, atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki; in Japanese, Japanese へ の 原子 爆 弾 投下, lit., “fall of atomic bombs in Japan”) were nuclear attacks ordered by Harry S. Truman , president of the United States, against the Empire of Japan. The attacks were analyzed on August 6 and 9, 1945, respectively, which contributed, together with the Soviet-Japanese War, the surrender of Japan and the end of World War II. After six months of intense bombing of 67 other cities, the Little Boy nuclear weapon was dropped on Hiroshima on Monday, August 6, 1945.2 following the detonation of the Fat Man bomb on Thursday, August 9 on Nagasaki. Between 105,000 and 120,000 people died and 130,000 were injured. To date, these bombings were the only nuclear attacks in history.

It is estimated that by the end of 1945, the bombs had killed 166,000 people in Hiroshima and 80,000 in Nagasaki, 7 totaling some 246,000 deaths, although only half died on the days of the bombings. Among the victims, 15-20% died from injuries or illnesses attributed to radiation poisoning.8 Since then, some other people have died of leukemia (231 cases observed) and different cancers (334 observed) attributed to exposure and radiation released by the bombs. In both cities, the vast majority of deaths were civilians.

Six days after the detonation on Nagasaki, on August 15, the Empire of Japan announced its unconditional surrender to the "Allies", becoming formal on September 2 with the signing of the capitulation certificate. With the surrender of Japan, the Pacific War ended and, therefore, the Second World War. As a consequence of the defeat, the Japanese Empire was occupied by allied forces led by the United States - with contributions from Australia, British India, the United Kingdom and New Zealand - and adopted the "Three antinuclear principles", which prohibited it from possessing, manufacture and introduce nuclear weapons

Where do you see the influence of Don Quixote in today’s world
ad-work [718]

Answer:

Explanation:

The musical or the book?

I don't see much of him no matter what basis you use -- book or musical. Do you?

He flourished in a time when knights were bound by a code of honor and the results were not good if you broke that code of honor.  He had no intention of doing anything that was wrong. He was so high minded that Sancho Panza had to keep on reminding himself that the Don was either a great saint or an unholy fool and throughout the entire production of both he never really made up his mind. Don Quixote was far too remote, far too idealistic, far too much of a man seeking the world not as it was, but as he wanted it to be. Sancho could never bring himself to see the world that way. And yet, he stuck with him. If his understanding did not increase, his wonder did. The more he saw, the less he really knew, but that was only part of it. Every person must make up their own mind about Sancho. I've spent so much time on him because he is more like modern man. The difference is that he hung around to see if he could come to some understanding of the Don.

Dulcinia is a different person that both of them, but she sees more clearly who Don Quixote is and she tries to push him away but she's not fully successful. I'm a guy and in general, I like that kind of woman. She tried to see him through a different set of lenses. His code prevented him from doing anything about it. We modern people would show no such hesitancy. Dulcinia may give us what we want but she respects the Don. She will never forget him whereas in a year's time, she could not remember anything about the rest of us.
