Powhatans (or powatans indians or Native Americans) lived in Virginia are also called leaders leading almost thirty or more tribes. When the chief powhatan died, this led to war with the colonists due to land and resources ownership. However the war was imminent when the measles and smallpox infected powhatans brought by colonizers.
