Part B: 400 meters in 3 minutes

(graph at the bottom)
_______________________
EXPLANATION

This is actually fairly simple. Knowing that she can walk 32 hundred meters in 24 minutes, to find how many in just 1 minute, all we need to do is divide by 24.

3200÷24= 133 1/3

So we know how much she walks in 1 minute, all we need to do is multiply that by 3 to find it in 3 minutes

133 1/3×3= 400

And we have our answer

72/100 0.72 72%

1/4. 0.25 25%

5/1. 5.00. 500%

1/20. 0.05. 5%

3/4. 0.75. 75%

24/100. 0.24. 24%

7/10. 0.7. 70%

625/100. 62.5. 625%

Ginger spins the spinner below and rolls the number cube. What is the probability that Ginger's spinner will land on 3 and she w
sashaice [31]
Answer: 1/24
Explanation: The probability of spinning a 3 is 1/4, or 1 out of how many numbers are on the spinner. The probability of rolling a 4 is 1/6 because there is only one 4 on a 6-sided number cube. (1/4)x(1/6) = 1/24

A triangle has the coordinates (−3, 4), (−4, 7), and (−2, 7) at its vertices. The transformed triangle has the coordinates (−4,
yuradex [85]
First draw an x-y plane and plot the coordinates (−3, 4), (−4, 7), and (−2, 7) for the first triangle. Then, plot the coordinates (−4, −3), (−7, −4), and (−7, −2) for the second triangle. Examine the graph and then identify if it is congruent or not and measure it's rotation.

The answer is C. Yes, the transformation is a 270 degree clockwise rotation.

Jeremy can row 3 miles in 12 hours. How long will it take him to row 1 mile
Zarrin [17]

By using division, it can be calculated that

Jeremy can row 1 mile in 4 hours

What is division?

Division is the process by which value of single unit can be calculated from the value of multiple unit.

The number to be divided is known as dividend, the number by which the dividend is divided is the divisor, the result obtained is the quotient and the remaining part is the remainder.

There is a well known formula for division

Divisor x Quotient + Remainder = Dividend.

This is a word problem on division

Jeremy can row 3 miles in 12 hours

Jeremy can row 1 mile in 12 \div 3 = 4 hours
