How did the countries of origin and ability to assimilate differ among the waves of immigrants entering the United States during
Valentin [98]

Answer:Immigration isn’t exactly a new occurrence in the United States. Still, despite a rich history of welcoming strangers into the country, it seems that the voices of critics calling for stricter immigration policy only get louder and fears over the negative economic impact immigrants might have continue to grow. Before the Industrial Revolution, why did the population in Europe “hardly grow?”
AlladinOne [14]

Conditions before the Industrial Revolution were terrible. Child mortality was high and the children who survived, barely had enough to eat. You see, because of The Little Ice Age, agriculture was terrible. And before the revolution, most of Europe was agriculture based. The lack of food made people stunted and killed many. The food that could be harvested, were taxed and there was almost no profit.
