Active words are used when the person speaking them is doing the action I.E I threw the ball.
Passive is the opposite. It is used when the subject of the sentence has had something happen to it by someone or something else.
If you want to improve in writing stories, fiction/non-fiction make it intriguing by using variable sentence structure, different verbs, adverbs, nouns, pronoun, adjectival phrases, adjectives.
Keep in mind that this works perfectly in writing stories,{{newspaper articles}}, and fiction/non-fiction stories, however this works in ever writing you do so keep up your work. i guarantee you will get better in lessons.
