Which print was made using the woodcut process?
professor190 [17]
I'd have to go with A.  The rhino picture.  The image is composed of what looks like notches or "gouges" used by a sharp tool,  which removes certain areas by gouging them out with the tool and then leaving the actual print on the top of the surface.  Often, a sort of paint roller would be passed over the surface image.  The gouged out portions would not be pressed by the roller.  Very cool and were used in many printing presses when they used templates.

Which of the following is an important theme from ethnomusicology? Group of answer choices You need only listen to understand
Kay [80]

Answer:

You need to know the context of a people's music.

Explanation:

<u><em>One of the things that the 20th-century Anthropology brought was the concept of otherness</em></u>, or to be specific, the idea that the context which a certain civilization is based on it's important and must be considered. In this case where a piece of music is the study case, then the Anthropologist (or the specialist who is studying it)<u><em> should look at the people who created that song, analyzing their beliefs, social skills, cultural elements and points of view and, then, propose an understanding about that music.</em></u>
