In my opinion, the reasons for exploration that impacted humanity were to <u>find and establish new trade routes and search for new conquerable lands. </u>

Explanation:

The most important reason for exploration in ancient times was to find better forms of mobility and commercial transportation.

In addition, for many explorers, the desire for exploration was given by numerous rumors and myths about riches in other lands.

Just as the Spanish crown did when they invaded America to exploit the gold of these lands.
