They argue that slavery is a good thing for African American.

Explanation:

According to Southern slave owners, the enslaved people came from undeveloped countries with very low standard of living. They constantly stated to northern government that the living condition that they provided for the slaves  were better compared to their country of origin.

On top of that, many of the southerners also use Biblical scripture to justify slavery.

They often quoted Ephesians 6:5 In order to justify that Christian actually allow slavery.

On February the 15th, in 1898, The battleship Maine was sunk by the Spanish crown, in Havana Harbor. This was the reason why the United States declared war on Spain in May of the same year.

When the war ended, in December of 1898, Spain had lost all its control over the territories of Puerto Rico, Cuba, The Philippines Islands, and Guam, with some smaller islands as well.

The War ended with the ratification of the Treaty of Paris, that was signed  on December 10th, 1898.

During Clinton’s time in the White House, America enjoyed an era of peace and prosperity, marked by low unemployment, declining crime rates and a budget surplus. Clinton appointed a number of women and minorities to top government posts, including Janet Reno, the first female U.S. attorney general, and Madeleine Albright, the first female U.S. secretary of state. In 1998, the House of Representatives impeached Clinton on charges related to a sexual relationship he had with a White House intern. He was acquitted by the Senate. Following his presidency, Clinton remained active in public life.
