The "Iron Curtain" was an imiginary line that separated the countries under the control of the communist Soviet Union from the Democratic countries of Western Europe. This phrase was first introduced by Winston Churchill in a commencment address. Ultimately, this imaginary line would lead to increased tensions throughout the middle of the 20th century. Discuss how African American political opinion differs from white public opinion on certain issues.
Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

Indeed, for historical reasons African Americans have a different public and political opinion than whites. People of African descent have historically suffered economic, social, cultural and political discrimination and relegation since the abolition of slavery after the Civil War, generally obtaining less recognition and benefits from the government than the white majority in the country. For this reason, African Americans have evolved in their thinking towards positions of progressive tint, supporting mostly the Democratic Party and the liberal, inclusive and less conservative ideologies.

Pls help me to add more. what is your reflection about the American Indian Wars in US History?
lesya692 [45]

The American Indian Wars were battles between American settlers and western Indians. Indians were also a key factor in the imperial rivalries among France, Spain, and England. But eighteenth-century conflicts were not limited to the European wars for empire. In Virginia and the Carolina, English-speaking colonists pushed aside many Indian tribes. When the Treaty of Paris was established it created conflict between whites and tribes. The Indians in the US were seen as a total waste of space.
