Enviromentally, indicators are even worse. Most economic activity is still fueled by fossil fuels, and the use of renewable energy is not nearly enough. Perhaps, the use of Nuclear Energy should make a comeback, since most scientists agree that Nuclear Energy is not only safe, but the only realistic alternative to fossil fuels that we have.
