Scots-Irish was the group which was facing economic ruin when Parliament forbade them from shipping their dairy products, woolens, and linens to English markets and immigrated to America. The last option is correct.

Scots-Irish immigrants settled in the American colonies from the 1600s.

However, the first major migration of Scots-Irish to America was a group that came with Rev. James McGregor from County Londonderry to New England in 1718.

The majority of the Scots-Irish who moved to America in the colonial period settled in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the Carolinas.

What do you think changed between 1896 and 1954 for Brown v. Board of Education to overturn Plessy
Afina-wow [57]

Answer: in 1896, segregation was viewed as perfectly constitutional and unproblematic as whites wished to be separate from African Americans. Yet during the period of time between 1896 and 1954 the evils of segregation where exposed as the separate accommodations for minorities provided by the white governments in southern states under Jim Crow we’re almost never equal in quality to the ones reserved for whites which is why the Supreme Court overturned plessy by ruling in Brown V Board that everyone regardless of race deserved equal protection under the law according to the 14th amendment

Genghis Khan was a leader with lot of great qualities, and he is regarded as a great leader, one of the greatest in history in fact.

Explanation:

Genghis Khan was a Mongol ruler of the Mongol Empire. He managed to unite the Mongol tribes and make them the greatest power of their time. Genghis Khan also set the foundations for the formation of the largest empire that the world has seen until then, only to be surpassed in size by the British Empire few centuries later.

This Mongol ruler possessed many great qualities. He was very wise, excellent tactician, loved his people, was establishing peace on the conquered territories, encouraged people of ethnic and religious backgrounds to collaborate and coexist. It is very interesting that Genghis Khan can be seen bot as a nationalist and as a liberal, from modern perspective of course.

His nationalist tendencies are seen in the fact that he loved his country, he loved his people, and he made sure that every Mongol has all of the basic needs for life secured. On the other side, his liberalism can be seen in the fact that he had nothing against people of other ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, but instead he was encouraging all people to put their differences aside, collaborate, and help each other for the benefit of everyone. All in all, Genghis Khan was an excellent leader, and a model as to how many other leaders should have been in that period of time.

How did the korean war change the course of the cold war?
KATRIN_1 [288]
That tension came to a head in Korea. Overshadowed by WWII, the Korean War has often been called America's "forgotten war," though like Vietnam it was part of a larger Cold War struggle to extinguish communism. In 1950, North Korean communist troops invaded South Korea, which was an American ally.

What was the geographical obstacle of the Silk Road's trade with Africa?
Doss [256]

The geography of the Silk Roads then is a complex interaction between the physical and climate zones of mountain, steppe or grasslands, and river valleys and oases which often are bounded by uninhabitable desert. Thus populations could be dispersed (in the grasslands) or concentrated in the oases and river valley
