2.Associate degrees can be completed on campus or in online programs which provides students with career training or helps prepare them to transfer to a four-year college or university.It is a the foundation degree course that occurs prior to an undergraduate course and aims to provide its students with technical skills and education with which they can begin their careers prior to carrying on with their undergraduate degrees.

3.Associate degrees are considered 2-year degrees though some students move faster or  some move slower depending on what else is going on in their lives and how much time they want to devote to schoolwork. Generally, associate degrees require 60 credits of coursework, which translates to 20 college courses.
