Answer:

i think the answer is  7 - x = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let me explain why i think that is the answer. First off, i turned the problem around so it was easier for me to solve.

I think that it stays '7 - x' because they arent like terms so you cant combine them, so i think that stays the same. Because i cant change that, i added '2 + 9' and i got 11. I then took the 11 and subtracted it by itself and the 19. Because i subtracted it by itself, the 11 canceled out and i got 8 from the 19 - 11. Like i said, i couldnt do anything with the ' 7 - x' i ended up with 7 - x = 8.

Answer:

x = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

First you need to use the distributive property.

19 = 9 + 2x - 14

Then you should simplify (9-14)

19 = 2x - 5

+5 +5 (Then add 5 to both sides)

24 = 2x

/2 /2 (Divide by 2 to get x by itself)

12 = x

Hope this helps!!!

dexar [7]

Answer:

2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

1. add all the beads up together:

    20+10+30= 60

2. add the blue and yellow beads up:

    10+30= 40

3. put 40 over 60

    40/60 which equals 2/3

4. the final answer:

Enter the equations of the asymptotes for the function f(x).

f(x)= 3/x−7 + 2
Alexxx [7]

Answer:

x = 7, y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

I assume it is 3/(x-7) + 2.

When x = 7, there is an asymptote because it is undefined.

When y = 2, there is also one, because 3/(x-7) is never 0.

These are the only ones.

What is the equation of a line passing between the points below? (-3,1) (5,-7)
kirill [66]

Answer:

Ax + Ay + 2A = 0 for any nonzero A, for example (A=1): x + y + 2 = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line is

Ax + By + C = 0

so we know that:

A*-3 + B*1 + C = 0

A*5 + B*-7 + C = 0

Let's subtract one from the other:

A*(-3 - 5) + B*(1 + -7) = 0

A*-8 + B*8 = 0

B*8 = A*8

B = A

Let's input B = A into the first two equations

A*-3 + A*1 + C = A*-2 + C = 0

A*5 + A*-7 + C = A*-2 + C = 0

checks out

C = 2A

So for any nonzero A the equation of

Ax + Ay + 2A = 0 produces a line passing between the points. Example would be

x + y + 2 = 0
