The shoes traveled faster than the rubber ducks and the bath toys. Propose a hypothesis to explain why the shoes traveled faster
vekshin1

In the sea, since the shoes are heavier they will travel faster in a lower point.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The situation that has been put up in the question are the shoes and the ducks which are made of rubber. When the weight of the two is compared, it is obvious that the shoes are heavier than the ducks which are made out of rubber.

As a result of this, in the sea, the shoes will go to a lower point where as the ducks will remain at a higher level only. Being at a lower level. the shoes will travel faster compared to the ducks.

Once a protein is made, its biochemical and structural properties play a role in producing ________.
nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

(D) mutant

Explanation:

Translation occurs at the ribosome, which consists of rRNA and proteins. ... Then, rRNA helps bonds form between the amino acids, producing a polypeptide chain. After a polypeptide chain is synthesized, it may undergo additional processing to form the finished protein. Learn how their functions are based on their three-dimensional structures, which ... bonds are formed by a biochemical reaction that extracts a water molecule as it joins to protein structure because these side chains can bond with one another to these stable folding patterns make up the secondary structure of a protein.  A genotype is an organism’s set of heritable genes that can be passed down from parents to offspring. The genes take part in determining the characteristics that are observable in an organism, such as hair color, height, etc. An example of a characteristic determined by a genotype is the petal color in a pea plant. Phenotype is the term used in genetics for the composite observable characteristics or traits of an organism. The term covers the organism's morphology or physical form and structure, its developmental processes, its biochemical and physiological properties, its behavior, and the products of behavior.

How is it that a code consisting of only four letters as in dna can specify all the different parts of an organism and account f
LekaFEV [45]

The genetic code can be defined as a set of rules used to encode information from genetic material (DNA or RNA ) into proteins. There are sequences of nucleotide triplets, -codons which specify which amino acid will be added next during translation (protein synthesis). Genetic code consists of 64 codons and this means that some amino acids are specified by more than one codon.

Genetic code has a role to determine amino acid sequence of protein (primary structure of protein). Location and the function of all those synthesized proteins is determinated by regulatory genomic regions (gene regulatory codes).

Proteins perform a wide range of functions within organisms such as catalysing metabolic reactions, DNA replication, stimuli response, structure role, transport role. So, all the diversity of organisms on this planet is due to protein variety.
