Compare and contrast sexual reproduction of most animal and plants vs asexual reproduction of bacteria. What are the advantages
blondinia [14]

Answer:

Asexual reproduction can be described as a method of reproduction in which only one parent is involved. The offsprings produced as a result of asexual reproduction are identical to their parent. Hence, limited evolution occurs in these organisms over a period of time. A bacterial cell reproduces by binary fission. In such kind of asexual reproduction, the parent cell splits into two daughter cells which are similar to the parent cell.

Sexual reproduction can be described as a method of reproduction in which two parents are involved. The offsprings are not usually similar to the parents due to the recombination. Sexual reproduction occurs by the process of meiosis. The recombinations that occur in such kind of reproduction brings variations among species.
