How is crude oil brought to the surface
natta225 [31]
In some places, especially some new wells that have just been drilled,
the oil is under pressure, and it brings itself to the surface as soon as
you drill a 'pipe' for it to rise through.

In most oil wells, there's a pump bobbing up and down day and night,
pumping the oil up out of the well.

When the well is so old that even a pump isn't very effective, water is
often forced down the well under pressure, and the water forces the
oil back up through the pipe.

Explain Segregation of alleles, using pea plant triats in your example. Help
earnstyle [38]
Segregation of alleles happens when the pair of alleles of each parent separate and only one allele passes from each parent on to an offspring. So if you had heterozygous tall plants and mated them (Tt x Tt), they would each separate into T and t, allowing each offspring to get either a T or a t from each parent. The possible genotypes would be TT, Tt and tt.

If you cross Bb with bb what's is the genotype ratio?
insens350 [35]

Answer:

Genotype ratio 1:1, there are two types of genotype BB and Bb in equal ratio.

Phenotype ratio 1:0, because all offspring have allele B. “B” is dominant and there is no bb genotype, so recessive trait will not be shown.
