Answer: The Narrator meant that Freeman's risky actions had given had freedom.

Explanation:

Alexander Freeman was granted Manumission which is freedom from slavery by the British after she joined their side in the American Revokution. What the British did not know was that she was a woman masquerading as a man so that she could be allowed to fight.

This was a huge gamble that paid off in a sense because she was granted freedom from slavery. However, the narrator said this was "in a sense" because the freedom was granted to her male alter ego, Alexander and not her.

What are the pros and cons of each type of news source? Which type of news source is more reliable, independent or mainstream? W
Lena [83]
There are pros and cons to every news source which is why it is important to look at both sides. In terms of politics (although politics pretty much applies to everything else) there is the right-wing news and the left-wing news. Each presents a story that fits their narrative including only the facts that support their opinions; keep in mind it is illegal to report a false story with false facts so news outlets must be careful when reporting the news in order to shed light on what they think is "right". No news source is 100% reliable which is why it is important to read the same story from multiple different sources from both sides in order to get all the facts. This way you can form your own assessment of the outcome of the story rather than being brainwashed into believing in one thing or another.

1. There is a short text based-reason as to why Dr. Heidegger says he chose the four
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

The rose anticipates what happens to the guests. Dr. Heidegger first uses it to demonstrate the rejuvenating power of the elixir; and later it withers right before the same thing happens to the old guests. If you believe that the elixir is nothing more than alcohol, then the rose is a key part of the dramatic show that Heidegger puts on for his guests in order to convince them that they are in fact growing young and then old again.

Why does the relationship between Julianna and her father change
vladimir2022 [97]
The relationship between Julianna and her father changed when Julianna entered puberty. A father who raises a daughter alone will surely have a hard time, especially during her adolescent years. A girl's body changes differently from a boy's body. These changes may cause a change in attitude of the daughter towards her father.
