Question is attached, please explain a little:) will mark BRAINLIEST
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

We know it has 2 distinct zeros. This means the discriminant of the quadratic is positive and must have 2 real zeros that can be rational or irrational. We also know the quadratic has rational coefficients which means both are either rational or irrational. They can not be one of either. Since it tells us one is rational, the other must be too.

A tile pattern has five tiles in Figure 0 and adds seven tiles in each new figure. Write a linear equation that represents this
Olenka [21]

The linear equation that represents the number of tiles in figure x is given by:

y = 7x + 5

---------------------

A linear equation has the format:

y = mx + b

In which:

 • m is the slope, that is, the rate of change.
 • b is the y-intercept, that is, the value of y when x = 0.

---------------------

 • Figure 0 has 5 tiles, that is, when x = 0, y = 5, thus b = 5
 • Seven new tiles in each figure, that is, a rate of change of 7, thus m = 7

The number of tiles in figure x is given by:

y = 7x + 5

A juice recipe calls for 5 cups of grape juice for every 2 cups of peach juice are needed for a batch that uses 8 cups of peach
Ksivusya [100]

Answer: 20 cups of grape juice are needed for 8 cups of peach juice.

Step-by-step explanation:

5 times 4 is 20.

We must do this step because you need 2 cups for 1 batch, and times 4 that is 8. So then we multiplied 5 times 4.

So, 20 cups of grape juice are needed for 8 cups of peach juice.

Hope this answer helps you out!
