He thought about the reasons for it and just remembered that his employer has started to use a new cleaner which might have affected his health. So he asked his supervisor about what chemicals are being used in the cleaner, but his supervisor didn't tell him and said that he does not have the right to ask about it as he does not work with it.

His supervisor is absolutely wrong because it is the right of every employee to have safe working conditions at the workplace and if anything is bothering him, they can ask about it or even complaint about it. So his supervisor's reply was not justified at all.
