The answer to this question is <span>a massacre of Lakota Sioux by United States Cavalry.
This event was most commonly known as the wounded knee massacre. The military claimed that the massacre is caused by one member of the tribes refuse to lower down his guns when they arrive. But if that instance resulted in the massacre of the whole tribe, we can conclude that the story will most likely to be a lie.

The Wounded knee massacre was a massacre of hundreds of Lakota Indians which included mostly children and women and this massacre was done by soldiers from army of United States. This massacre took place in year 1890 on the Lakota Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Dakota state of United States. On the day of this incident, Cavalry troops of United States went to the camp in order to disarming of lakota and according to the one side of the story, During the process of this disarming, a deaf tribesmen whose name was Black Coyote was not giving up his rifle as he was reluctant to do so as his claim was that he has paid so much of money in order to get that rifle and during his protest, He started to do a ghost dance which was a part of their ritual and during his process his rifle went off air and mistakenly shot was fired and from that point, Soldiers of the united States army started to fire on native Americans to which Lakota warriors tried to fight back but because they were disarmed already by American army, they were unable to fight much.This conflict can be called as Massacre of Lakota.

The American Revolution established the United States as a nation built on the idea of citizens' rights and freedoms.  It was revolutionary in its time, because governments than typically had been in the interests of those at the top of society (kings and aristocrats). But the American Revolution put power in the hands of the people, and that revolutionary idea still holds true.  We still think of the United States as having the ability to pursue revolutionary change, including changing who is in control in government, based on what is good for the people.  Thomas Jefferson expressed this ideal in the <em>Declaration of Independence </em>(1776):
