Consistency- Several scientists can repeat an experiment and the results are the same. Observability- The results or subject of an experiment can be observed by using the five senses or extensions of them. Natural- A natural cause must be used to explain why or how the naturally occurring result or experimental subject happens. Supernatural can’t be used. Predictability- Predictions can be made about the subject and can be tested. Testability- Subject can be tested using a controlled experiment. Tentativeness- Scientific theories are subject to change because of technology.

If the sequence of one strand on DNA is CTA GCT CCA, what is the
complementary strand? *
vekshin1

Answer:

If the sequence of one strand on DNA is CTA GCT CCA, the complementary strand is GAT CGA GGT.

Explanation:

The DNA molecule has four nitrogenous bases in its structure, two purines —adenine and guanine— and two pyrimidines, cytosine and thymine.

The two DNA strands are linked by hydrogen bonds established between their complementary nitrogenous bases, where a purine is complemented by a pyrimidine.

In the case of DNA, adenine is complemented by thymine and cytosine is complemented by guanine:

A=T

C≡G

In the sequence belonging to a DNA strand CTA GCT CCA, the strand that is complementary would be GAT CGA GGT.
