Answer:

A). His unreliability.

Explanation:

Theme is illustrated as the central idea or claim of the author that he/she intends to convey through his/her work. The author employs vivid descriptions that helps advance the theme of a literary work and offer a clear and better understanding of the work to the audience.

As per the question, the author's 'unreliability' in the poem 'Top of the Food Chain' aids to facilitate the theme of 'careless decision making'. The author intends to inform and aware the audience about the consequences affiliated with such irresponsible decisions by portraying himself as 'impetuous' that assists the readers to enhance their understanding. Thus, option A is the correct answer.

As I imagine that I’m standing at the edge of the cliff looking at a chasm I can envision the bottom being a mining territory and that I can possibly extract precious minerals from it. Or that the view is so overwhelming that I would buy a helicopter and take tourists to this site so I can earn some money. Of course if I look down at the chasm I will marvel at it because it’s so terrifyingly deep and at the same time intriguing. It’s a work of God, how could someone not feel something being at such a dangerous height?

The story of Orpheus and Eurydice is one of the most beautiful and sad in Greek mythology. In the story, Orpheus, the greatest poet, and musician in history try to reclaim his wife, Eurydice, who has passed away. To save his loved one, Orpheus will travel to the underworld and back.

By narrating King Orfeo's trip to the "Other" realm in quest of his vanished queen, Dame Heurodis, the Breton poet Sir Orfeo borrows and modifies the classical Orpheus myth. Unlike Orpheus, who is motivated to reach the Otherworld by the death of his loving wife, Orfeo is motivated by the kidnapping of Heurodis.

The purpose of Greek mythology is to educate people, and the Myth of Orpheus and Eurydice teaches two lessons to ancient Greeks. First, you must honour your commitments. And second, always treat the gods with reverence.

According to many myths, he used his lyre to perform a mournful song, pleading for death so that he and Eurydice may be together forever. Either creatures tore him apart or, in a fit of rage, the Maenads murdered him.
