One major viewpoint is that Douglass was a slave and captain Canon was not. Just elaborate on this subject for the first paragraph. Also, mention that Conot only witnessed beatings but Douglass actually beat. And Include how Conot earned a living off of Transporting slaves that would have changed his viewpoint. Each of these people had different viewpoints.
