I think that there should be a death penalty because criminals violate our rights all the time. Therefore, since human rights must belong to everyone, I believe that if they kill they should die. For example, if a criminal killed a member of my family, our life would never be the same, so this kind of events should not remain unpunished. My opinion is purely personal and is based on my sense of fairness and moral principles.
