Sauron [17]

Answer:

A)Yang's team's research will contribute to the creation of new materials.

Explanation:

A central argument in this Newsela article by Susanne Bard is that the discoveries made by the scientist Wen Yang and her team, who studied the human hair will be helpful in producing new materials such as very strong ropes that cannot easily cut during rescue operations.

This aspect of scientific research mimics the natural order of things so as to help scientists in innovating new products that will be beneficial to man. Yang hopes to streamline this new discovery to the Nano level before it can be harnessed by manufacturers.

The fact that as he states it himself, he made sure to use examples from actual writers about the actual meaning and usage of a word. In other words, he quoted their writings to illustrate the meaning of the words as they were used by actual people.

Thus, the meaning and use of the words was no longer just theoretical but practical as well. Here that can be clearly seen by the way he uses the adjective “undefiled” (meaning not dirtied) to refer to the only variety of the English language than in his view is the proper one.
