Rate is the distance traveled by the speed or how fast. One could therefore say that, m/ph or km/h or miles/distance. In this case, 30 metres = 3000 cm in 1000 years. This means that you will divide 3000/1000 years to get 3 cm per year.

One meter is 100 cm which implies 30 meters is 30*100 cm which is 3000 cm. So the continent has moved 3000 cm in 1000 years. So the distance traveled in one year will be 3000 cm divided by 1000 that is 3000/1000 which is 3cm/year So the rate at which a continent is traveling is 3 cm/year.

The map above uses a particular projection to display the world’s continents. Which of the following statements about this map i
Airida [17]

The false statement is - B. This map projection does not distort shapes.

The map shown on the image is a Mollweide projection map. This is a map that has an elliptical shape, unlike most of the maps that have a rectangular shape. It is a map that pretty accurately manages to depict the Earth's continents with their right sizes.

Unfortunately, it can not be said that the map is without flaws. It is a map that has distortions, as all the others do, but it is still a map where the distortions are very small, thus the depiction is much accurate than on most of the other map projections.

Met forcé of a 4500 N acta on a car with a masa of 1500kg what is the acceleration.
pickupchik [31]
.
Newton's 2nd law of motion says: Force= (mass) x (acceleration)

You know the force and the mass, and you need to find the acceleration.
So divide each side of the formula by (mass).
Then you have:

       (force) / (mass) = acceleration .

Write the quantities that you know in their places,
and bada-bing, out falls the answer you need.
