Answer:

The correct answer is that they were enchanted with having more fortune than all Asia, Europe, and Africa could figure out.

Explanation:

El Dorado. South American perfect world that Candide and his hireling, Cacambo, find coincidentally during their departure from Jesuit ministers in Paraguay. In contrast to different districts in the novel, El Dorado genuinely is the most ideal everything being equal, the very direct opposite of degenerate European human progress.

Voltaire appears in Candide that devotion has no effect on close to home or social morals. He represents this through the experience of the elderly person when she is taken as a slave when a youthful princess. She, her mom, and their female workers are taken to war-torn Morocco (Africa), where everybody is battling every other person.

When Candide gets to Eldorado he sees a society where money means nothing. All share the wealth. When he gets to Surinam and meets a slave whose hand and foot were cut off , he realizes that in that society money rules. The slaves tells him "this is the price I paid for people to eat sugar in Europe"

What is the effect of rukeyser's choice to write "poem" in free verse? the poet is able to write from the second person point of
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer: the poem seems unplanned and chaotic.

In "Poem," author Muriel Rukeyser tells us that she "lived in the first century of world wars." The main idea of the poem is how this was an era of madness ("I would be more or less insane," "more or less mad for similar reasons," "a nameless way of living," "unimagined values," "the lights darkened... the lights of night brightened"), and how the people were deeply affected by this madness and by the wars. The fact that the poem is written in free verse contributes to this mood of confusion by making the poem seem unplanned and chaotic.
