Let x be the number of days.

Daily pass:
65x + 30x
95x

Season pass:
400 + 30x

95x > 400 + 30x
65x > 400
x > 6.15

The number of days can't be 6.15, so you must round. You can't go down because then the price will be more expensive, so you have to round up.

It would take 7 days until the season pass is less expensive than the daily pass.
----------------------
You can check this by plugging in the x.

95x > 400 + 30x
95(7) > 400 + 30(7)
665 > 400 + 210
665 > 600
The daily pass is more expensive than the season pass.

Solve. 3(2w-7)=3<br> What is W?
almond37 [142]
- - Solve:

Start of by simplifying both sides of your problem.

3*2x+3*-7=32

6w+-21=3

6w-21=3

- - Now you need to add 21 to both sides to be able to finish solving.

6w-21+21=3+21

6w=34

- - Final step:

\frac{6w}{6} = \frac{24}{6}

Answer: w=4

The set of points W(4, 4), X(6, 2), Y(-8, 16) are collinear and the line has a slope of ____.
Anton [14]

Answer: -1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The set of points W(4, 4), X(6, 2), Y(-8, 16) are collinear

The slope of a line passing through points (a,b) and (c,d) is given by :-

m=\frac{d-b}{c-a}

Now, the slope of line passing through W(4, 4), X(6, 2) is given by :-

m=\frac{6-4}{2-4}=\frac{2}{-2}=-1

Hence, the slope of line passing through W(4, 4), X(6, 2), Y(-8, 16) =-1

Find the value for x
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

x=4

Step-by-step explanation:

The two angles together are complementary, which means they add up to 90 degrees

solving for x:

9x+4x+38=90

9x+4x=13x

13x+38=90

13x+38-38=90-38

13x=90-38

13x=52

x=4
