we are given

height function as

h(t)=-16t^2+116

Any object will hit the ground when height is zero

because at ground height will become 0

so, we can set h(t)=0

and then we can solve for t

h(t)=-16t^2+116=0

-16t^2+116-116=0-116

-16t^2=0-116

multiply both sides -1

16t^2=116

Divide both sides by 16

\frac{16t^2}{16} =\frac{116}{16}

t^2 =\frac{116}{16}

now, we can take sqrt both sides

t=\sqrt{\frac{116}{16}}

so, we get

t=2.69258

so, it will hit ground after 2.69258 seconds ...........Answer

Is the function represented by the table linear
Bess [88]

Answer:

No, because it does not have a constant rate of change.

Step-by-step explanation:

On the <em>x</em><em> </em>side of the table, there is a constant rate of change (+1). However, on the y side, it is not. The first change is +7, the next +5, and the last +6. The rate of change has to be constant on both sides for the table to be considered linear.
