Community service is should be an essential part of any community. The task stands on the principles of solidarity and prioritizing the benefit of a group as a whole.

  • Activities regarding community service can originate from various sources including:
  • As an initiative from a person or organization to execute a particular task aimed to address an issue in the community.

As a penalty that a person from the community has to pay in response to some infraction he or she committed.

The first case is an admirable action that should be replicated. The second case is also a good action because it invites people who committed any infractions to reflect on their current attitude and try to be better people.

Nowadays, community service projects that would generate a greater impact in their societies are the ones related to sustainability. This is the greatest issue that has to be addressed in this century and every effort that contributes to a more sustainable world is valid.

I don't know if these will help you, but I copied it anyways.

In March of 1956, the congressional representatives of states in the Deep South joined together to protest the Supreme Court's order to desegregate public schools. More than 90 members of Congress expressed their opposition to the Court's ruling via a document that asserted that the Supreme Court had overstepped its bounds. What was the name of this document?

the "Southern Manifesto." The congressmen asserted that the Supreme Court had overstepped its bounds and had "no legal basis for such action." The decision, they claimed, violated states' rights and was an example of "judicial usurpation."
