Nationalism as one of the important factors of a trait that a citizen should have can also be harmful especially when it is already an extreme nationalism. Nationalism can be harmful when it reached to the state when you see your race is superior than others and fighting for your country even though you know you stand in the wrong side. Also it can be harmful if it is used to fuel the citizen to fight and to make war.
