In spanish culture pieces of art tend to be more colorful. Back when the Egyptians were around many art pieces were big and grand, like the pyramids. American art varies from all types of different arts. Different cultures can play a huge role on what types of art are created. This has to do with both inheritage and environment.

So the reason that they are primary colors is because they make up the secondary colors and in order to make any other color such as pink, teal, fuscia, or even maroon you need to first start off with the primary colors.
