To indicate that words were removed,  we need to use  the ellipsis mark. It is made of three consecutive dots in the place where the word/s should be. Depending on the type of work (formal or informal) you might find the dots between square  brackets 

For example: "the park that I loved was near my house"
Ellipsis: "the park ... was near my house".
Ellipsis with square brackets: " the park <span> […] was near my house".</span>
