I would say sometimes since JK and JL both start with the letter "J" meaning that the endpoint in called "J." There are infinite other points along that ray that can be named anything so that means "JK" and "JL" are possible.

Carlos wants to put 720 of his blocks in his toy box. A small set has 10 blocks and a large set has 100 blocks. How can you writ
Natasha_Volkova [10]

Carlos can put the blocks in this three ways:

(i) 32 large blocks and 4 small blocks.

(ii) 22 large blocks and 5 small blocks.

(iii) 12 large blocks and 6 small blocks.

The total quantity of blocks equals the number of blocks stored in the sets of blocks. Based on the information given, we derive the following algebraic expression:

10\cdot m + 100\cdot n = 720, \forall\,m,n\in \mathbb{N_{O}} (1)

Where:

  • m - Quantity of small blocks.
  • n - Quantity of large blocks.

Now we can clear n in terms of m:

100\cdot n = 720 -10\cdot m

n = 7.2-0.1\cdot m (2)

From (2) we get the following combination of sets:

1) m = 12, n= 6

2) m = 22, n = 5

3) m = 32, n = 4

Carlos can put the blocks in this three ways:

(i) 32 large blocks and 4 small blocks.

(ii) 22 large blocks and 5 small blocks.

(iii) 12 large blocks and 6 small blocks.

Akimi4 [234]

Answer: 22 minutes

Step-by-step explanation: 500-170 means that he drained 330 gallons of water so 330 divided by 15 gallons a minute so you get 22 so it takes 22 minutes to have 170 gallons left in the pool
