\Nutrition programs are programs which decide on the types of food to give to people according to what the body needs to be healthy, ie a balanced diet of lots of fruit, vegetables, protein and carbohydrate and that protein can come from sources alternative to meat, like beans for example. Inousing my city, Vancouver, BC some schools provide free lunches to help children in poverty to have a healthy lunch and to combat malnutrition. Also, as far as housing goes, some low cost housing is being built on vacant city land for low income people to help get them in off the street ie to help the homeless.
