The availability of water is a problem in the developing world because, often, those countries are located in regions where water is scarce as the climate is dry or very hot, so the reservoirs of water are extremely rare and often they are under the control of the power entities, which can make the access to the resource even more difficult.

Southeast Asia comprises of Eleven countries which are Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, East Timor, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand and Vietnam.

Population distribution is described as the pattern of where people live which could be sparsely or densely populated.

Major waterways of SE Asia ensures there is movement of inhabitants to other Super power countries to seek for more opportunities.
