Carbon Cycle.

Carbon is an element which is found plentifully within our Earth. It is an surviving element which is found in every single living organism residing in Earth.

Carbon cycle is a process where the atoms of carbon are reused again and again. In this process, the carbon passes into the Earth and its living creatures from the atmosphere and then it the same process repeats back again. To make it simple, the carbon cycle process is very similar to that of water cycle.

A very fix amount of carbon is present in Earth and its atmosphere, that same carbon is recycled again and again which helps in supporting the life on our planet.

Discuss the effect of globalization on international trade of agriculture and allied<br> sectors.
IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

Globalization led to easy trade of agricultural goods across most of the globe, but also it led to specialization and improvement of agricultural techniques and production.

Explanation:

Globalization, as a process, has managed to connect the world in pretty much every aspect. This has resulted in easy trade, communication, exchange of ideas and technologies, specialization, etc. One of the sectors that have experienced big changes has been in the agricultural sector.

The countries, having open trade with almost all of the world, started to specialize to produce only a few products which are the most suitable for their conditions. Also, the new methods and technologies have spread globally, so the production has increased significantly and the work has been made easier. Agricultural goods from all over the world can now be found on a single market, while in the past it was a case where only locally or regionally produced goods were found.

WXYZ is an isosceles trapezoid. WY=8x-3 and ZX=19. Find the value of x.
fenix001 [56]

Given:

WXYZ is an isosceles trapezoid. WY=8x-3 and ZX=19.

To find:

The value of x.

Solution:

We know that the diagonals of an isosceles trapezoid are equal. So,

WY=ZX

8x-3=19

Add 3 on both sides.

8x-3+3=19+3

8x=22

Divide both sides by 8.

x=\dfrac{22}{8}

x=2.75

Therefore, the correct option is B.

PLLLLZ HELP Which of the following happens when a river enters a large body of water?
postnew [5]

Answer:

Option (1)

Explanation:

When a river enters a larger water body then it is called the mouth of the river. As the river enters the larger body of water, the inclination of the river decreases to nearly horizontal, as a result of which the flow velocity of the river decreases. Due to this, the river cannot further carry the sediments and deposits the materials such as sand, silt size particles, and clay. These accumulated materials are commonly known as alluvium. This area is known as the delta which is somewhat triangular in shape.

Thus, when a river enters a bigger water body, then it slows down and a large amount of sediment deposition takes place.

Hence, the correct answer is option (1).
