History

The correct answer is, the Americans felt discontent with Hoover’s decision during the Great Depression. American citizens faced the largest economic downturn ever lived in the country, major unemployment due to the fall of production in fabrics. Many people lost its job, became homeless, and due to the fall of the investments ended up in debt.

The American sentiment was painful. Many people had lost its savings and homes. American citizens blamed him for the situation, although he did no cause the problems. Sad and angry people considered that he allow the situation to fester and even deepened during his tenure.

Hoover was criticized for each and every one of his measures. His projects, designed to create jobs, were considered to be wasteful. He was viewed as callous towards the unemployed.
