This poem is a limerick. It has five lines with an AABBA rhyme scheme. To find the rhyme scheme you look at the words at the end of the line. Joe, bow, and glow all rhyme. Sun and done rhyme. Usually, the third and fourth lines are shorter than lines one, two, and five. Limericks also have a clear rhythm just like this poem.

What does this mean? *End your introduction with a general statement about how animals help humans.
MrRa [10]

Answer:

So I am guessing your paper or essay is about animals helping people. So you want something general in your introduction because you don't want to reveal all the good information in the beginning you want to give them a small piece of it then in further paragraphs go into deeper detail. This is the intro so if I was to read this paper I would at least be given a small idea in the intro not a ton of detail yet. So be simple, say something general that everyone probably knows then in the next paragraphs go into deeper detail about things people wouldn't know.

J Underline the collective nouns in the following sentences:
Annette [7]

Answer:

 1. the axen (do you mean oxen?)
 2. The church choir
 3. the mob
 4. fleet of luxury cars (or just cars)
 5. clump of trees (or trees)
 6. a troupe of dancers (or just dancers.)

Explanation:

As you probably know, a noun is a person, place, or thing (or idea), and the question is asking for you to underline the collective nouns, a word which here means acting as a group or a group of something, so we would underline the nouns which have a group in them.
