The answer to the equation is

y=1700s+18n and y is the total salary including monthly and number books sold

then to graph it just plug that equation I gave you into your graphing calculator and it will show you the graph. Or you can do it by hand and just make a S and N table and plug in values like starting with 0 or 1 and go up 0,1,2,3,4,etc. for each S and P and you will get the corresponding graph coordinate points to plot. Hope this helps! Please rate thank you!!

Graph the line that goes through the point (-6,-2) with slope of 1
vekshin1

Answer:

Check out the image.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, the equation of the straight line is y = mx + c; where m is the slope of the equation and c is the constant.

The line has the slope 1.

Hence, the equation becomes y = x + c.

Since, the line passes through (-6, -2), -2 = -6 + c or, c = 4.

Hence, the equation of the straight line becomes y = x + 4.

Putting x = 0, we get, y = 4.

The line passes through (0, 4).

The polynomial of degree 4, P ( x ) has a root of multiplicity 2 at x = 4 and roots of multiplicity 1 at x = 0 and x = − 1 . It
Svetlanka [38]

To have roots as described, that means we have the following factors: From multiplicity 2 at x=1 has (x-1)^2 as its factor From multiplicity 1 at x=0 has x as a factor From multiplicity 1 at x = -4 has a factor of x+4 Putting these together we get that P(x) = A (x) (x+4) (x-1)^2 Multiply these out and find P(x) = A (x^2 + 4x) (x^2 - 2x + 1) A ( x^4 - 2x^3 + x^2 + 4x^3 - 8x^2 + 4x ) Combine like terms and find P(x) = A (x^4 + 2x^3 - 7x^2 + 4x) To find A, we use the point they gave us (5, 72) P(5) = A [ (5)^4 + 2(5)^3 - 7(5)^2 + 4(5) ] = 72 A [ 625 + 250 - 175 + 20 ] = 72 A [ 720 ] = 72 Divide both sides by 720 and find that A = 0.1 Final answer: P(x) = 0.1 ( x^4 + 2x^3 - 7x^2 + 4x) or P(x) = 0.1 x^4 + 0.2 x^3 - 0.7x^2 + 0.4x

What is the value of 4c+6c-10c when c=5?
nekit [7.7K]
4(5)+6(5)-10(5)=0
(5) basically means times 5. So 4 times 5 is 20. 6 times 5 is 30. 20 plus 30 is 50. 10 times 5 is also 50. 50-50 is 0.
Good Luck, hope this helps!
