WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST A student explains the Nebular theory of formation of the solar system as follows. "The solar system was fo

rmed from a slowly rotating cloud called nebula containing extremely cold gases. When these gases were heated up, the nebula contracted and became a flattened disk. As the nebula became smaller, it rotated more rapidly and became flattened at the poles. Gravitational force caused rings of gases to be left behind when the nebula contracted. At the center of the nebula, the gases combined to form the sun and the planets formed in the outer flattened portion of the disk." What is the flaw in the student's explanation? (1 point) gravitational forces did not help the nebula to contract the nebula consisted of hot gases which contracted on being cooled the speed of rotation of the nebula decreased when it became smaller planets were formed in the central core of the nebula instead of outer portion of disk

Kitty [74]
I'm not sure I completely understand what the question is asking for. When I look at the plates, it looks like they all fit together like a giant puzzle. They separated due to tectonic plates shifting over hundreds of years. This was based on the theory that there was a supercontinent (one giant landmass). I'm not sure how much this helps, but I hope it does. Good luck!!

Following are a number of distinguishing characteristics of spiral and elliptical galaxies. Match each characteristic to the app
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

  • 1. have a flattened disk of stars --- spiral galaxies.
  • 2. are rare in central regions of galaxy clusters --- spiral galaxies.
  • 3. contain many bright, hot stars --- Spiral galaxies.
  • 4. are more reddish in color --- Elliptical galaxies.
  • 5. contain primarily old, low-mass stars --- Elliptical galaxies.
  • 6. contain abundant clouds of cool gas and dust --- Spiral galaxies.
  • 7. have significant, ongoing star formation --- Spiral galaxies

Explanation:

  • Most galaxies that contain a central bulge that is surrounded by a rotating disk of arms that circles the galaxies are said to be a spiral galaxy.
  • About 60% of the galaxies are made up of spiral shapes and they are mostly found n low-density regions and are in the central of the galaxy clusters. Spiral galaxies often have beautifully shaped made form hot and young stars.
  • The more reddish in color indicates much older galaxies and are resemble that of an elliptical shape. Also, they consist of a little amount of dust and gas left. Spiral galaxy has rich gas and high star formations.
