In April 1775, the "shots heard around the world" were fired at Lexington and Concord. The shots were the result of colonial tension toward the acts passed by the British government. The colonial militia was victorious at Lexington and Concord. Delegates to the Second Continental Congress assembled in Philadelphia three weeks after the battles at Lexington and Concord. The Congress selected John Hancock as its president. Hancock was one of the richest colonists. He used his wealth to fund the Sons of Liberty in his home state of Massachusetts. The Congress also selected George Washington as the commander of the Continental Army. In an attempt to avoid a full-scale war, the Congress sent King George the Olive Branch Petition. In it, the colonists asked the King to protect their rights and told the King that they wanted peace. King George rejected their petition and began preparing for war.
1.Hatshepsut was the chief wife of Thutmose II, Thutmose III's father. She is generally regarded by Egyptologists as one of the most successful pharaohs, reigning longer than any other woman of an indigenous Egyptian dynasty.
2.Hatshepsut undertook ambitious building projects, particularly in the area around Thebes.
One of Hatshepsut's major achievements was expanding the trade routes of Ancient Egypt. Most notably was an expedition to the Land of Punt, which became a major trade partner supplying Egypt with gold, resin, wood, ivory, and wild animals. Her greatest achievement was the enormous memorial temple at Deir el-Bahri, considered one of the architectural wonders of ancient Egypt.

Queen Amanirenas lost an eye in that battle and became known to the Romans as One-Eyed Kandace. In addition to her known war tactics, she goes on to negotiate a treaty with the most powerful male ruler at the time, Augustus Caesar.
The minutes had different consequences. The Massachusetts Governing Act undid representative government and also decreed that political posts in colonial government were elected by Great Britain. The Justice Administration Act authorized the Governor of Massachusetts the right to transfer any judgment to Great Britain and authorized coercive actions to give witnesses to the case. The Boston Harbor Act closed the Port of Boston until it was paid for damages for the Tea Party in Boston, although it was never done. The Law of the quartering declared that the British troops not only had to lodge in commercial and empty buildings, but also in private houses.
The Intolerable Acts were also a determining factor for the convening of the First Continental Congress and the Declaration of Rights and Complaints. The Continental Congress rejected the Intolerable Acts when creating the Continental Association. The aim was to boycott British goods and if that failed to force Parliament to remove the tax records, then it would stop exporting to Britain.
On April 19, 1775, the tension increased that caused the Battle of Lexington, reaching the American Revolutionary War.
