Explanation: 1- Primary Succession means occurring OVER TIME. It is the gradual growth of an ecosystem over a longer period of time.
2- Secondary Succession is a process started by an event that reduces an already established ecosystem to a SMALLER POPULATION of species, and as such secondary succession occurs on preexisting soil.
3- Climax Community is when the development of vegetation in an area over time, have reached a STEADY STATE. The climax community is composed of species best adapted to average conditions in that area.
4- Species Extinction is self explanatory, species there die off probably never to be seen again.
