Answer: Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings where over 60 tombs were constructed for Egyptians pharaohs lies on the Nile's west bank near Luxor. This had been a  royal burial ground for pharaohs like  Tutankhamun, Seti I, Ramses II,  queens, high priests, and other elites from 16th to 11th centuries BCE.  

Underground tombs and mausoleums were elaborate,   stocked with treasures a ruler might need in the next world.
