Solution :

Given that , at a party there were four large submarine sandwiches all the same size .

During the party 2/3 of the chicken sandwich, 3/4 of the tuna sandwich, 7/12 of the roast beef sandwich and 5/6 of the veggie sandwich were eaten

Remained chicken sandwich =1 - \frac{2}{3} = \frac{1}{3} =0.34

Remained tuna sandwich  =1 - \frac{3}{4} = \frac{1}{4} =0.25

Remained roast beef sandwich  =1 - \frac{7}{12} = \frac{5}{12} =0.42

Remained veggie sandwich  =1 - \frac{5}{6} = \frac{1}{6} = 0.17

Hence, Veggie Sandwich had the least amount left .

Please answer this. I would greatly appreciate it
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

The length of the side TU is approximately 29.9 feet long.

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a trigonometry law called the law of sines, which states the sine of an angle divided by its opposite side is equivalent to the sine of all the other angles in that right triangle divided by its corresponding opposite side. You can use this law to help you solve for x. By applying the law of sines, you'll get that \frac{sin(90^{o})}{x} =\frac{sin(42^{o})}{20} ⇒ \frac{x}{sin(90^{o})} = \frac{20}{sin(42^{o})} ⇒ x=\frac{20*sin(90^o)}{sin(42^{o})} ⇒ x=29.9ft.

What characteristic is true for all relations that are functions
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer: First option, the graph of the relation passes the vertical line test.

Step-by-step explanation:

A function is a relation that maps elements from a set (the domain, the x-values) into elements from another set (the range, the y-values)

Where the only condition we have is that each element from the domain can be mapped into only one element from the range.

So if we draw a vertical line at any point of the graph, it can intersect the graph of the function a maximum of one time. (this is known as the vertical line test)

Then the correct option is that the graph of the relation passes the vertical line test.

The mass in a pendulum clock completes one complete swing in 1.00 s . what is the length of the rod?
solniwko [45]
The period of oscillation of a pendulum is
T=2 \pi  \sqrt{ \frac{L}{g} }
Where L is the length of the pendulum and g=9.81 m/s^2 the gravitational acceleration.
Re-arranging the formula and using T=1.0 s, we find the length of the pendulum:
L= \frac{T^2g}{4 \pi^2}=0.25 m
